    Mushrooms of Swat Pakistan A Study Base Upon Molecular and Morphoanatomical Characterization

    I am thankful to Allah Almighty for blessing me with ample strength and stamina to do this venture. So many people assisted and supported me during this work belonging to at least three distinguished institutions i.e. Centre of Plant Biodiversity, University of Peshawar, Pakistan, Department of Botany, University of the Punjab, Quid-e-Azam Campus, Lahore, Pakistan and Pfister Lab, Harvard University Herbaria, Harvard University, Massachusetts, USA. I have to express my profound gratitude to my worthy supervisor, Prof Dr. Abdur Rashid, Centre of Plant Biodiversity, University of Peshawar, Pakistan, who was kind enough to accept me as PhD student and then facilitated my research in highest ranked universities of the world. I would also like to thank the worthy director of Centre of Plant Biodiversity, University of Peshawar Dr. Asad Ullah for facilitation in official matters. Support of Mr. Abdul Razzaq, Mr. Usman Ali and Mr. Basheer Khan was vital in course work accomplishment of this dissertation. I am so grateful to him for accepting me as PhD research student under his co-supervision. He introduced me to the field of practical mycology and molecular phylogenetic taxonomy of mushrooms. He always left the doors of his lab open for me and provided every kind of possible facility related to my research.
