Abstract
The main purpose of the study was evaluation of Guidance and Counselling programmes in the teacher training institutions of Pakistan. Guidance is concerned with the entire personality of the individual. Education includes all the processes that develop human ability and behaviour. So, Guidance and Counselling occupies an important place in education.
To assess the attitudes of teacher-educators and prospective trainees toward these programmes, samples were gathered from Institutes of Education and Research (I.E.R's) and select teacher training colleges.
