Abstract
All acclamation and appreciation are for Almighty Allah, who bestowed the mankind
with knowledge and wisdom. All the respect, honor and countless salutations are upon
the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him) for enlightening the essence of
faith in Allah and guiding the mankind towards the true path of life. In addition, HE is
a torch of guidance and knowledge forever for humanity as a whole.
My heartiest gratitude is for my supervisor, Prof. Dr. Ikhtiar Khan, Institute of
Chemical Sciences, University of Peshawar, whose continuous encouragement and
proper guidance enabled me to accomplish this hard task. I found him very helpful,
co-operative and productively critical during the completion of this research project.
I am very thankful to my co-supervisor, Dr. Aqib Iqbal, Assistant Professor, Institute
of Biotechnology & Genetic Engineering (IBGE), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Agricultural
University Peshawar for his sincere co-operation and valuable comments at every step
