An examination of Terraces along Chitral River Their Distribution, Surface Deposits and Genesis

Abstract
The present study is a part of the "Intermontane valley sediments and terrace system in Chitral habitus, genesis and landuse potential." The project was sponsored by Technical University or Berlin. The German group included Prof. Dr Klaus Haserodt and Mr. Ulrich Kamp of the Department of Environment and Society, Institute of Geography, Technical University of Berlin. My thanks are due to Prof. Dr. Mohammad Said, former Dean Faculty of Science, who supervised the study. Without his help and valuable advice, this study would have not seen the light of day. lowe a debt of gratitude to Prof. Parveen Daud Kamal whose advice and persuasion was always a source of encouragement and inspiration.
