Abstract
I wish to acknowledge Dr. Khanzadi Fatima Khattak, Chief Scientist, NIFA
(Nuclear Institute for Food and Agriculture), Tarnab, Peshawar for her supervision
and kind help in the proximate analysis of medicinal plant samples. I am really
thankful to Dr. Abdul Sattar, Director, Entomology Section and Mr. Misbah who
provided all the facilities to do insecticidal activity at NIFA (Nuclear Institute for
Food and Agriculture), Tarnab Peshawar. I am thankful to Mr. Abid Ali Khan, Ph. D
scholar at Centre of Biotechnology and Microbiology, University of Peshawar for his
kind help in determining the antibacterial and antifungal activity of medicinal plants
samples.
