This study delves into the intriguing relationship between Ghani Khan’s poetry and visual art, specifically through the medium of painting. Ghani Khan, a celebrated poet, is renowned for his profound reflections on themes such as love, beauty, humanity, and freedom. His poetry often conjures vivid imagery and evokes strong emotions, captivating readers and prompting deep contemplation. The primary objective of this research is to translate his rich poetic concepts into a visual format, utilizing colors, shapes, and symbols to bring his words to life on canvas. To achieve this, a meticulous examination of selected poems by Ghani Khan was conducted, focusing on uncovering their underlying themes and meanings. Each poem was analyzed for its emotional depth and philosophical insights, which then served as a foundation for creative exploration. Various visual interpretations were generated through a series of sketches, each one reflecting the unique essence of the corresponding poem. Following this initial phase, a collection of paintings was developed, each work representing a personal and subjective interpretation of the feelings and ideas embedded in Khan’s poetic narratives. The findings of this research indicate that painting serves as a powerful medium for expressing poetic concepts and fostering a deep connection with viewers. By transcending the written word, visual art can evoke emotions and provoke thoughts in ways that resonate with a contemporary audience. This study underscores the profound interplay between poetry and visual art, revealing how Ghani Khan’s timeless work can be reimagined and presented in innovative and engaging ways, making it relevant and accessible for today's viewers.
