Abstract
At the very outset of my acknowledgementI would like to thankAllah for blessing me
with good health and intellect to accomplish this work. It is only His blessings which
enabled me to reachthis apex level of knowledge in the field of Chemistry. This workis a
synergistic product of many minds. I am grateful for the inspiration, knowledge and
wisdom of all the thinkers who enabled me to put pen to paper, among them are my
parents, all myrespectedteachers, students and friends who deserve first mention in this
dissertation. A deepsense of gratitude andindebtedness is extendedto ever alfectionate
